In 2001 GEP were able to sign the classic british progressive band Renaissance, which has roots deep down in the late sixities, when Keith Relf, Paul Samwell-Smith and Jim McCarthy formed the band from the ashes of the Yardbirds.
Their line-up-changes were notorious, at one point, two bands under the same name recorded albums.
Tuscany, the first release on GEP was performed by the Annie Haslam and Michael Dunford lineup and features some of the finest music Renaissance wrote.
It was followed by the collection In the Land of the Rising Sun which contained Renaissance's Number 10 hit single, Northern Light.
