NEW
RELEASES:
John Wetton “Rock Of Faith”
(GEPCD1033) We are
delighted to announce that John’s great new studio album will be released
on February 24th. Many much bigger labels were very interested
in signing this CD, so we’re thrilled to have it on GEP! John’s voice has
never sounded better and many people are already saying that this is his
best-ever solo release. Guests musicians include Geoff Downes (who also
co-wrote some of the songs), Clive Nolan and Steve Christey.
Renaissance “In The Land Of The Rising Sun – Live In Japan 2001”
(GEPCD1032)
A great new double live CD from this classic British band with first
class recording quality. All the band’s classic tracks are here (Northern
Lights, Opening Out, Mother Russia, Ashes Are Burning, to name just a
few!), together with excellent live versions of material from the recent
“Tuscany” album. If you only buy one Renaissance album, this is the one to
get - it’s virtually a greatest hits package! Available now!
IQ
"Subterranea: The Concert"
DVD (GEPDVD9001)
The long-awaited DVD will be available by
mail-order from late February. This ambitious project is packed with
“extras” including a 5.1 surround-sound mix, band commentary, and
interviews about the evolution of the stage show with the IQ production
team. Although the DVD is non-region specific, it is only available in PAL
format at present. We hope to make a US format NTSC version available in
due course. We are optimistic that the DVD will be on sale at the
forthcoming IQ shows in Europe, however please note that all mail orders
will only be processed once the tour is over.
The
Lens "A Word in Your Eye" (GEPCD1031)
A fascinating new CD featuring
re-recordings of early pre-IQ material, featuring Mike Holmes, Martin
Orford and a guest appearance from Paul Cook. Now available by mail-order.
“Bard” by Big Big
Train (TFCD001)
The highly acclaimed new studio CD from one of the most
quirky and English-sounding of all prog rock bands.
Jadis
“Alive Outside” (JAD006)
The
brand new live CD recorded at the band’s legendary 2001 Garden Gig in
the New Forest. Great sound quality, classic Jadis songs and some
surprises! Available by mail order now.
Dirtbox
“Uneasy Listening” (AUB
78201)
We now have copies available by mail order
of this interesting and eclectic CD by John Jowitt and Mark Westwood. This
album, which features guest appearances by Martin Orford (IQ/Jadis), Tracy
Hitchings (Strangers of a Train, Landmarq) and others has previously been
very hard to find.
Renaissance “Tuscany”
(GEPCD1030)
This is the first new studio
album by the band since 1983, and it is very much in the spirit of the
band's "Song For All Seasons" period. Annie Haslam, Michael Dunford and
Terry Sullivan are the nucleus of the current band, and they are
supplemented by Mickey Simmonds (ex Camel / Fish/ Mike Oldfield) and guest
appearances by Jon Tout and Roy Wood.
We
still have a limited quantity of the following recent releases in stock:
Spock's Beard "Don't Try This
At Home"
Now available from us on import, this very hard-to-get live album
features the band on their "Day For Night" tour.
Spock's Beard "Live At The
Whisky and Nearfest".
By special arrangement with the band's own Radiant Records, we have a
limited quantity of this rare double live CD from 1999.
Neal Morse "Neal Morse"
Absolutely superb first solo album from the Spock's Beard
/Transatlantic mainman. Highly recommended.
JAD005 "Medium Rare" by
Jadis
The new Jadis rarities album. Over 70 minutes of rare Jadis music - a
fascinating CD.
JAD003 "As Daylight
Fades" by Jadis
Live album from 1996. Previously deleted, but now available again after a
long absence.
